Ok so called rotax spoke with Gary. The clearence i have is about 2mm on the right side of the cowl. Gary said that should not be a problem. I have just run the engine today with the spinner on with no problems. But boy talk about fine tolerances

I called bolly they directed me to aerokits which dont have any.Call bolly, I think they do some extensions. -
With the spinner aswell? Most VG I have seen didnt need any spacers and they had bolly props -
Hi guys im at a road block with my brand new Bolly prop, does anyone know of a extension that can be bolted onto a rotax 912 uls prop thrust plate to extend out another inch or so, so i can have adequate clearance of the spinner backing plate of my new Bolly prop and spinner.

Cool what a tool. Will need one of these in the toolbox!you can also buy a compass knife at places like lincraft etc then cut your own rings with coloured contactI purchased one to use on my X-Air ASI and its easy to cut the outer ring then reduce the compass dia 3mm then cut again.... too easy :)

No worries Neil thanks for the advice.Hi guys. I have a 19 reg savannah vg and want to make a inspection flap on a hinge to open and check my oil.hi trackley personally I would not put a little inspection flap in BECAUSEby removing the top cover completely you can see the whole of your motor and them bloody birds and rats have been known to build a home there very quickly
plus better inspection of oil leaks plug wires broken exhaust springs
yes I know its a pain in the **** to remove the cover but visual inspection is best neil

That will be greatHi TrackleyI made an oil filler check panel for my VG. Was really worthwhile. I'll be down the hangar today and take some pics.Peter

Cheers that will helpHi TrackleyHave a look at Tony Spicers web site for his Panther in the Fibreglass section. He has a few step by step photos how he made an inspection hatch in the cowl.https://get.google.com/albumarchive/116494848541088965116

I like that. Good ideaTrackley:As an alternative, you can do what I did when I built my Nynja.I got some different coloured "hookup" wire and used a piece of stiff wire with different colored insulation and glued it around the ring of my ASI

I know this was mentioned here just recently. But I am at wits end trying to find some green and yellow arc stickers to go onto my Savannah VG ASI. I have found 2 companys in America and Germany but want like $45 for postage of a 10 dollar sticker. What can I do.

Hi I do hope this is not to personal for this site, but I am a low hour pilot very keen on owning my very own Savannah.
I am trying to find someone that owns a Savannah and that would kindly like to take me up for a test flight and a good run over the aircraft, before I start spending money on purchase's and the like.
I'm based in Emerald CQ.
