I'm pretty sure this is the one that was built at Lethbridge :)Yeah, you right. But, as I said, I'm having my first child shortly and I don't have the time to build a kit. I added everything up... Rotax 912, kit, pro paint, steaqm panel with Ipad.. came up to about 70k.. Plus 700-1000 hours ( i KNOW it would take me 1000 hours ) and this has been built by a builder that has built 4 planes so it MUST be good.. But, Im insistent on paying an expert to go over the plane first. Here is a pictures of the plane........... -
Sorry, been busy with other things.....A question for GregF, could you please tell me what is covered with flight insurance, e.g. Worst case scenario you suffer an engine failure & land in a paddock & damage the a/c beyond repair, what will they pay you, let's say you insure the hull for $60,000.Thanks,In that case you'd get the $60,000 and they get the aircraft!
Otherwise up to $5ooo to retreive the aircraft and repairs less excess (1,500 from memory).
Cheers

Hi Russell,
I can put you in touch with a Corvair "Importer" so to speak if you like.
He should be able to point you in the direction of builders & flyers in the Brisbane area.

Thanks for that Frank, You forgot to mention the Pilots abilitiesG`Day Greg, The best and shortest thing I can say is, the main strip is 510 mts long, end to end and getting in and out will depend on all the factors that effect the performance of your aircraft at the time.Frank.I'll give you a call next time I'm looking for somewhere to go!

So your strip is long enough for a Jab Frank?
I'll have to fly in there if so, it doesn't look like I'll get there if I have to drive :)

No Alan, just the Dog, it is a little confusing isn't it!So if the dog has a 'litter', do you put them all in the 'litter bin'. Alan.Cheers

~$1700ish for J160; Ground, Taxiing and FlightJust out of curiousity (and maybe someday soon I may join the ranks of people that own an aircraft) in rough figures what are you paying for your insurances, and what does it cover?~$550 for Ground cover only

That's Ballarat? Or are all airstrips looking the same these days?
When you start at 1500ft climb rate isn't helped in any way at all ;)
