I've worked on a few 582 and the smaller Rotax's.  as well as a lot of race bikes.  582 is better than some others but it's nothing special in quality or  design. Better stuff is made today.. You have to be with the latest in 2 strokes IF you use them or you're nowhere unless you're a historical person.  Nev

Opportunity for a Chinese replacement.     They make good parts for some of the best  brands  OEM.   There's nothing really "Special" about a 582. Except the market it serves. 2 strokes are more of a liability in the reliability area, but careful and knowledgeable operation helps a lot there  .Nev

I know they are not making the aircooled ones, but is the 582 still available New? They came with Carbs and muffler.  Nev

The other one's a Cheetah. (Big Cat with spots). Trump's a cheater  especially  with golf.   Nev
