  1. Thanks

Thanks for all the congrats, it seems like it has taken forever.

Tomo, no I haven't taken Stan up for a spin yet as my card hasn't come through.

But we are planning on flying together soon. I have my Masters this weekend so it gives him a chance to try and catch up :)

Then it is off into the wild blue younder

  2. Afternoon all,

Well after three months of waiting for the weather to be friendly, on Sunday it was.

Ahh my x-country is done, exam is passed and passenger complete.

More hours of solo time and absolutely no housework or shopping.

Hmm tinned spaghetti tastes so nice when you have a grin this big on your face.

Just planning my first trip now and more time up there rather than down here.

    Fly safe and stay well

  3. Just a solo

    Hey Tomo,

Just my Solo to do and then I have the lot done.

Have been waiting nearly two months now as the weather is not being my friend!!

Hopefully next weekend and then I can spend more money and travel the country :)

The Navs I find challenging as I have poor directional ability:confused:

Can't wait to do some "fly ins" and purchase my first plane

    Fly safe

  4. We had a shed give up and some roof sheets try and come off.

It was great fun trying to race around and secure everything.

Watching th gum trees at a 90 degree bend was scary, you are never sure becuase of the drought if they are going to be strong enough to stay upright.

Looks like we are in for another belting today.

  5. Navs

    Yesterday first Nav.

It was great, but then again I have a good instructor.

I am not the best at ruling, measuring and using protractors whilst flying but I got where we needed to go, didn't run out of fuel and managed to land safely. All in all a great day.

    Today (hopefully) off again

  6. Thanks Guys,

The stalls and steep turns made me feel ill.

Not knowing what he was going to pull on me next made me massively nervous.

But it all ended up being ok in the end.

Flying to Swan Hill and Maryborough tomorrow.

    Can't wait :)

  7. Tomo,

Glad to sread you're enjoying the Jab. (The 120 is cute)

Damn wonderful weather (rain lots of it with high winds) has kept me grounded but I am booked in for the flight test on Sunday (weather permitting)

I didn't use the tap method myself, just once aware of the problem, tried to correct it.

    Stay safe

Can't complain about the rain but its just soo frustrating...

Instructor gave me maps, ruler etc so I can play with that.. planning possible trips etc. So that will have to sufice apart from work 049_sad.gif.af5e5c0993af131d9c5bfe880fbbc2a0.gif
