  2. Hi Emaroo, The reason they are so good is simple, They stop you quickly without fading time and time again. Matco supply you with a package which includes Axle;Calipers;Roters;Tyres; Tubes;(aircraft quality) Pipes;Fittings etc. The cost varies according to the exchange rate From about $1200 Aus to $1350Aus. They are easy to fit.and you will never worry about stopping again, We have also fitted them on a J430 and had them approved by CASA.If you require more info., Call me on 0408203362. Cheers Jabby

  3. Just an update on the fitting Matco brakes to the Jabiru's.We now have certification for these so they can be fitted to factory built aircraft and still carry out training etc. It's a good time to purchase Matco at the moment whilst the Aussie Dollar is so strong.I can order you the correct kit to fit any Jabiru and have them sent to you direct,Or we can arrange to have them fitted and certified .Cheers Jabby

  5. Hi guys, As most of you sometime or another have had trouble with your brakes, lets face it they are not the best brakes on the planet. I have found a very good alternative Matco Brakes. These are very simple to install as you get the whole kit. Includes axles, wheels, tyres tubes, calipers discs and pipes & fittings. You use your own Master cylinder,or you can,if wish use heel or toe setup. Any one interested call me on 0408203362 or email amroche@iinet .net.au Thanks Guys Jabby:clap:

Hi Guys, I have found a device in Europe, A carby heater which is screwed onto the outside of the carby and heats the butterfly when switched on, I have no problems with starting or carby ice. I can get you one for about $230.depending on exchange rate. Cheers Jabby:cool:

Hi Turboplanner, Yes I know the unfortunate gentleman. He actually bought my share in the syndicate a few months ago and has been going very well up to now. I think his pride has suffered a big blow, but he will get over it. Just goes to show how strong these little Jabs are.Happy Flying Cheers Jabby

  10. Cold Starting a Jabiru

Hi all you Jabiru owners and Rotax Owners as well. I have discovered an excellent way to cold start your aircraft and also use as a carby heat. It is a device that fits onto the butterfly of your carby and heats it. It comes from overseas cold climates and elimates your existing carby heat,if you have one. Very simple to install and it really works. You can contact me here or phone me on 0408203362 for further information. Cheers Jabby

  14. Hi Carl, I fly a Jab From Warnervale and am a member of the Central Coast Flying Club. You are dead right in what you say,As far as I know there is no definate date yet for the shift, It is going to happen, but when ,depends on wyong council allowing Mirvac permission to build on Warnervale. I also have access to a Storch ( thats the Italian one) with floats at Cessnock, All I need is a float endorsement, If anybody can help I would be extremley happy. Happy flying Mike
