  1. Re P92 brake pads Thanks again, another great suggestion. There must be some companies in the U.K. that could reline them for me at a fraction of the price of obtaining the Italian ones. Will look into it and see what is possible. Thanks again. Kindest wishes. Roly.
  2. Re P92 Brake Pads Many thanks for your reply to my email question. I gather they are amazingly expensive to import from Italy as a friend has just done this. He must have got them from the supplier you mentioned. He said that they were off a Vespa scooter, so hope to see if I can source some over the internet. Some hope !!?? Many thanks again for your feedback. Kindest wishes. Roly (starting to get to know my new plane a bit better) !!!
  3. I am wondering if anyone can give me an idea what the brake disk pads on the Tecnam P92 may be off. I am told by a fellow P92 owner that the pads are only available from Italy. Just wondered if there may be an equivalent item available in the U.K. Also I had a look at my rotor arms on the Jabiru 2200 and they seem a bit sloppy. I would like to put new ones in, and wonder if anyone may know what else this distibutor fits possibly in the car world so that I may be able to get the rotor arms from an automotive dealer. Thanks Roly.
  4. re P92 Echo brake pads. Thanks Bruce for your reply re the pressures for the Ultralight P92. my Brake pads are getting a bit low now and I am wondering if anyone knows what they are off. A friend here with a Tecnam says they have to come from Italy. Any possible equivalent? Also does anyone know what the rotor arms are off. Mine just say made in Japan, but guess they must be of a Japanese car. They are a bit sloppy in the distributor . Thanks. Roly
  5. Just joining in the forum for the first time, would this also apply to the ultralight version with the small wheels? I am the new guy on the block with a P92 echo ultralight in the U.K. very green yet on all aspects of the plane. Thanks. Roly
  6. Thanks Frank. Looks a really useful group and covering a wide range of planes. Looking forward to learning more about my Tecnam P92 Ultralight from some other Tecnam owners. I saw the Drifter at Sun and Fun a few years ago, very impressed. Thanks again for your welcome. Roly.
  7. Hi all. I have just found this excellent website and found the Tecnam forum very interesting. I have flown Microlights in the U.K. starting with the first trikes attached to hang gliders in the late 70s. Moving through to bigger trikes and eventually coverting to 3 axis on the Thruster T300. I have enjoyed every minute of my Thruster time, but decided that a bit more speed and comfort in my old age was needed. Have just purchased a Tecnam P92 Echo and hope to glean lots of tips from your forum. She is the Ultralight version with the Jabiru 2200 engine. I am located in the South of England just next to Poole harbour the second biggest natural harbour in the world after Sydney. We operate out of a 400 metre farm strip called Newton Peveril. Bye for now. Roly.
