red750 Posted February 16, 2012 Share Posted February 16, 2012 Hi Rod, Welcome to TAA. Back in the 70's when I lived in Sydney I got endorsed on an AA5B and flew it out of Bankstown a few times. My flight school was Chieftain Aviation. Maybe just the one I flew, but it took a bit of slowing down after landing. You would stand on the brakes and the end of the runway would keep coming. Grumman Ace Posted February 16, 2012 Author Share Posted February 16, 2012 Hi Peter, I was lucky enough to get clearance to fly into Sydney Harbour a couple of weeks ago while we flew the Tiger down from Archerfield.......
