Hi to everyone, my name is Matt, Iam 31 yrs old and have been flying with Hempels over the last few years (and yes Iam proud to say it). Barry and the instructors there were great, it is sad to see such an unfortunate chain of events unfold over the last month. My training aircraft included the Beechcraft Skipper, Cessna 172 and a flight in the Yak which was great.:thumb_up:

Hello Matt,

 

Barry was also one of my instructors about 30 years ago. It is very sad. There is probably no other pilot in Australia with his flying hours.

I can`t say anything about Barry because I didn`t know him but I do agree that it is very sad for everyone concerned.

Hi Frank,

 

With so many accidents of late, and Hempels going into liquidation I think the press is trying to paint a bad picture for the school and pilot training.
