Guest David C Posted October 4, 2008 Share Posted October 4, 2008 I had the great pleasue of meeting up with Jerry some months ago at Hoxton Park during the early stages of his around Australia flight . He is a great bloke who deserves much recognition for his determination in the face of adversity . He has received very little support and almost no publicity for his efforts , Radio 3AW in Melbourne being an exception . I and other tried desperately to get the media , particularly Ch7 in Sydney to run some footage , but we met a brick wall .. I urge all to log on to his site and keep tabs on his progress , and if you can, take the time to say G'day to him if you have the opportunity .
