Question: Takeoff in a Sportstar

Recommended Posts

Merv - you're a worry.

Ok, so this is how I do it it seems... never really ever thought much about it till this thread, but going through a few photo's it seems I'm never far from the throttle.

Compliments go to whoever was my victim at the time and took the photos. ;)

I reckon if the music stops and your hand is on the throttle, you would be much more likely to close it..

If the music stops it probably doesn't make much difference if your hand is on the throttle or not!006_laugh.gif.0f7b82c13a0ec29502c5fb56c616f069.gif

Hi,

When I started flying in the late 1960's and later in the RAN I was told always have hand on the throttle in the circuit.

As an aside - Darky with all those ears you could rest them on the window - maybe???087_sorry.gif.8f9ce404ad3aa941b2729edb25b7c714.gif006_laugh.gif.0f7b82c13a0ec29502c5fb56c616f069.gif006_laugh.gif.d4257c62d3c07cda468378b239946970.gif006_laugh.gif.0f7b82c13a0ec29502c5fb56c616f069.gif
