robinsm
When they tell me I can't, (Raa that is) then I won't. Until then the peice of paper from Mr Bell is still current. Besides, it is only a review at present.

Guest jabiru
To elaborate with the department watching ???sorry but I have respect for my privileges,it is only my opinion, that I think something is brewing within the department .
docjell
Yes Shaun - elaborate please! What privileges do you imagine are threatened by frank open discussion, and what's brewing? I'm sure a number of outside bodies are watching the RA-Aus antics with incredulity and one couldn't fault any of them for questioning our ability to self govern. The seemingly desperate push to confer PPL privileges to Rec pilots without all the financial and personal hard work involved is a case in point. If you have a valid discussion point - make it and don't beat around the bush
robinsm
I note that the term "amateur built experimental" is used. The kit I put together is registered as a 19-0000 but is recognized as a 'type' aircraft. Nowhere does it say experimental in the registration. Are you not getting confused with CASA registered experimental aircraft. However, as I mentioned before, until they send me a letter, I am letting my letter from RA-Aus be my authority to fly over built up areas.
