Nev25
I'M wondering when you go for the medical to obtain a license or certificate what are they looking for. Or what are the pass criteria. I was told by an optometrist that the to pass the eye examination the future pilot had to be able to read text at a certain distance from the eye? Guest pelorus32
And if you are talking about a PPL or higher license then you will find all you need to know here: http://www.casa.gov.au/manuals/regulate/dame/index.htm Setting out the standards or here: http://www.casa.gov.au/avmed/index.htm Setting out general matters. Otherwise you are required to sign a declaration for your Pilot Certificate (RAA) that you are fit to drive a car. If you want a RAA Instructors rating then the medical standard is equivalent to a CASA Class 2 medical. All the RAA stuff is covered in the Ops manual that you have if you are a RAA member :;)3: Kind regards Mike
