Gibbo
Just saw the vid on Win. Damn hard impact with Left wing completely fold over the right hand wing. Door hanging off the strut in a vertical position with the left hand side opened up like a sardine can. Damn lucky to even survive. Hope the pilot gets out without to many lasting issues. dazza 38
Hi Gibbo, The door hanging off the wing strut was interesting.Nice looking aircraft by looking at the news.1977 model according to the CASA web site.
Gibbo
I would say a low speed turn near the ground and the left wing touched and right wing (still having air) completed the flip due to drag. Looked like the nose hit at about 30%.. ouch.
