cscotthendry Posted February 28, 2013 Author Share Posted February 28, 2013 It is indeed Mals Swift. It was a great flight except it was a bit spooky how quickly I lost sight of him after takeoff. I started rolling when he turned crosswind. I still had him sighted till just before I started my crosswind turn. Then when I rolled out of my turn he was nowhere to be seen. I never saw him again until I was overflying Kingaroy field. If you look closely you'll see him on crosswind over the runway. I had my GoPro running the entire trip and I've reviewed the footage and still can't find him even thought I know he's not far in front.
