Factory orders-get in quick

This is the order board at the Jabiru factory but not all the orders are on show, there is a pile underneath. If only all businesses could boast such an impressive order list! But it is still possible to get one in a few months.

 

The other photo is of the kits being crated, off to their lucky new owners.

Don't talk about it, I visited the factory some years ago, just after the 2200 engine was released, had the money to buy then (Compete Kit was $35K) ... but the minister for houshold affairs wanted a new house. One of the Guys, (Rod Stiff I seem to remember) took me around the factory, most impressive, particularly the engines. I flew one at the local flying school, a bit like a high speed rollerskate to land after training on a 172. I still hold hopes of building one in the future. It's great to see they've prospered.
