Ultralights Posted June 24, 2007 Share Posted June 24, 2007 not a trip report as such, as i didnt fly-in, but did drive in with the vampire on the trailer, fortunately i did manage to get 10 mins flying in!, as Mat and Kazz mentioned iin their report, the approach to 12 was interesting! and it was like landing on a sponge matress. anyway, enough blabbing from me, pics. Friday Arrivals. Setting up on Friday afternoon! a perfect location... and 1 monster tree stump! Dinner friday night was a nice counter dinner at the local Pub in Kew. followed by a few hours arounds Ross's perfectly built fire! Saturday morning brings a few new arrivals. Dimples! Foxbat! which later proved its STOL capability! Wannabigplane arrived in his tornado from Goulburn! Love this panel, Digital analogue. i want one in my Vamp. Mid Morning and outnumbering the Jabirus as well!! Perfect location! fishing, flying, camping and a warm fire all in 1 spot! even hot showers! Were these the 2 oldest aircraft of the flyin?? Garry arrives in his cheetah My baby! Ross's temporary letterbox! dont ask... because i dont get it either Hornet and donuts. Hornet departing for a short flight Saturday evening, and transport arrives for the short trip to Port Macquarie what? no back seat hangers? some people up to no good? straight to the bar! and well catered for! yep, tasted as good as it looks! Sunday morning! and no hangovers! Ian gets out his industrial strength mobile phone charger! a lazy sunday morning after a great weekend! Wannabigplane prepares to depart! the Only pic i have of Bob, the airfield owner! he has some wonderful toys in his shed! unfortunately thats most the pics i have! i was too busy talking and looking at aircraft!
