silvercity
Can someone tell me where I can find the regulations relating to the minimum distance required from a non-towered certified aerodrome in Class G airspace for the location of a private ultralight airstrip please? metalman
A VTC or VNC should give you that info, as long as you can maintain minimum heights you can be pretty close, I haven't looked for it but from memory you have to have 1 nm "planned" distance, for day VFR Matty Just had a look at the VFR flight guide, 1 nm up 2000 agl and 2nm up to 5000 agl,
Guest Nobody
I don't understand Matty's answer. Isn't class G airspace "uncontrolled" and so ra aus aircraft can fly in it...
Ultralights
just as long as your traffic pattern would not interfere with the pattern at the certified aerodrome. and call airservices to have the location added to the next chart amendment. or permanent NOTAMS for the certified strip nearby
