Phil Perry
Sorry guys, looks like the beeb have removed the sublink to that specific accident as it was Friday ( old news ! ) but you CAN find it on their main site, and a few others as well by using the homepage searchbox, and insert Enstone Oxfordshire. I believe the trike was a Quik model. . . . They have not got the latest ( Rans ) accident ( lunchtime today ) yet, as they are a bit on the slow side. Phil Perry
Both stories now pulled from webnews, not interesting enough. The second crash ( sunday 5th July ) was a Rans S6 912, departure stall, spun into the ground almost vertically from around 250ft on takeoff. A local instructor witnessed the incident, and also put out the fires, after they had interviwed him, the AAIB had a quick look but not interested. Down to insurance now. The Fatal one will no doubt appear some months down the line in one of the monthly AAIB reports. I have not bothered to post the June 2015 issue, as there were no Lsa / GA incidents of any seriousness, a couple of rotorcraft rollovers, no fatalities. This is GOOD !
