Thought I'd post a couple of a few trips I've done around the territory in the Hornet. Yeah mate the hanger is WWII, last time I was there the story of the strip was displayed on the walls of the hanger. farri Posted July 9, 2017 Share Posted July 9, 2017 Found this one here.Magnificent Men & their Flying Machines Years ago, I flew an Austflight Aviation,503 WB Drifter, on huge fiberglass floats, that to look at, you`d reckon you wouldn`t get it into the air, but it did quite easily and was very manoeuvrable....I loved it and I would love to have floats for mine.
