Here are the answers: "Yes, GA and RAA pilots are encouraged to fly in to the air show, but as you say, it is primarily a community air show rather than a fly in. Weather, of course, will be a big factor in how many people choose to fly in on the day. The fencing in the spectator area will be star pickets with three wire strands, approximately 1.5 metres high. In some places, there will be a ditch barrier instead of a fence. We are expecting about 1500 people, and if this is roughly right, it should be fairly easy getting unobstructed shots. The flying display aircraft will be on the other side of the fence, so no, you won’t be able to walk amongst the aircraft. There will be a number of aircraft on static display within the spectator area, although they may be taped off to prevent people touching them."
