Guest Pak Mungkin
A blast from the past? I saw a Qantas branded DC9 landing at Adelaide airport this afternoon. Is this happening because Qantas is bringing craft back from New Zealand after handing over to Jet*? Has that happened yet. I need the story!! Or did I mis spot? Guest Glenn
I think it was more likely to be a 717 as that is what jetstar used
Guest Pak Mungkin
I have solved it! Took a little detective work but I now know that it was a Boeing 717 ex Kalgoorlie, landed 4:00 pm. Based on the Douglas DC9!
Guest Pak Mungkin
Thanks Glenn, but I haven't seen a Jet* 717 into Adelaide yet. Where do they use them?
Guest Glenn
Nowhere now. Check out the fleetlists under resources in the menu on the left
Guest Pak Mungkin
Thanks Glenn. I suggest that the 717 may soon have the orange and silver on them again as Jet* take over the domestic market. Regards, David
Uncle Chop Chop
Jetstar only used the Boeing 717's when they 1st started flying. When the A320's started to come, Qantas took the 717's and started to fly them in WA.
