  1. ha ha mine started with a good mate of mine who has a passion for aviation :D he want to be a comercial pilot, then i met another know mate called shaun ha ha he owns a drifter and talking to him led me to the australian air force cadets peerce bullsbrook WA (701SQN) that was were it started i went for my first flight in a cessna 172 and was inspired to be able to fly myself :D i talked to every company at jandacot and all the PPL companies couldnt do any better the 10K (to ,much for a young bording school student) ha ha upon reading my brothers collections of RA-Aus magazines i came accross the ad for this forum and then the ad for Glenn at Sporting Aviation academy im starting my training when i can get out to wildcatchem :D but i think my true inspiration comes from eagles!! ha ha not incredible interesting story but its mine :D :Norton:

  2. i guess you could do it personaly i would be chasing a STOL air craft that i can chuck gear in and go "bush" with second hand or from a kit if it needs work the its called a lerning curve but i would say second hand would in many cacses be better than a new kit. :D but things like a sonex and personaly iv never herd of a minicab arent really suited for rought wheatbelt strips or unprepared bush tracks. and being a fair way from the closest bituman strip would make it hard. two seater would also be required so you could do lessons and endorsments in your own plane.

  3. i dont know of anyine who had their pane damaged but there was some local damage as far as 250KM inland we had a few fences down and at my bording school (cunderdine AG) we had a flooded dinning room and our dorms had water in them. lost a few trees and damage to the sheep yard; 50 dead sheep from a falling tree. but other than that nothing this far out

  4. that is something i would love to do and as some one with a great interest and in 2012 starting an appretiship as an air craft mechanic i would love to have my own plane but the truth is their a "big" investment and one that many student pilots or eger student pilots simply cant afford. unless some one can give me the name of a plane (i dont like getting cold so one with a enclosed cockpit) under 20K?? cause i havent seen one yet? it definaetly would make lerning cheeper and you can always move up to better things when you have the experience?keen.gif.9802fd8e381488e125cd8e26767cabb8.gif

  5. hmmm still not really conclusive reluslts and it dose seem a bit pro zenith. but im sure the problem will be resolved then they will need to re-establish their sales and reputation. so i think it will be a few years before there back to bring a reputable company
