Well done mate. My wife and sister were at the strip when I did my 1st ( 1st of 2) solo, 1 circuit then land he told me. No problem I said (out loud) talked to myself
all the way round, meanwhile my wife and sister were wondering why there were two idiots in yellow jackets wondering aimlessly around the airport. Idiots were mine
and a GA students instructors watching and hoping that their students doing their 1st solos would bring the planes back. We did
All theory done (ages ago) 19 hours up and 4 Solo circuits. Hopefully getting close to my "P" plates, one thing is for sure no matter how hard you concentrate on a landing if that little crosswing gust
hits you it can make a good line up look like S__T, at least the other 3 solo landings were ok.
Did my first Solo after 15 hours in a Tecnam, lasted all of 5 minutes (1 Circuit), but seemed a lot longer, I don't think I have ever talked to myself so much, but manged to throw in a little Yahoo after I landed.
