  1. just wondering how good aeropower engines are reliability,problems, etc anyone have one in a skyfox ? are they any better or any worse than a rotax 912 ??? bit sus on car engines in aircraft !! all views appriceated. cheers everyone
  2. hi to you how much you got on the sky fox? could i have the full details, hours on airframe and engine, condition of aircraft more photos ,where the aircraft is ? does it have folding wings is there a trailer( you can hope) what does it come with g p s , headphones etc? will await your reply in antisipation cheers gary s townsend
  3. i meet gary when i was thinking about buying a zodiac saw the aircraft in question at bunderburg airshow and fell in love with it aranged to see and talk to gary at the gold coast i spent an afternoon with him a nicer man you could not meet and had time for all my questions we even went to aeroplane and i looked all over it in it it was stunning so well built to. it is a very sad day for aviation such a highly respected and talented man has left us. i feel for his family and send love to them in this very distresing time

  6. can anyone tell me if subaru engines have anymore problems than rotex engines , most people i talk to rubish subaru engines in aircraft and tell me that they are the one that cause the most engine failers in aircraft is this true is there any evidence to suport this i think jabaru engines seem to be the worst offender for problems always seeing them in reports with problems or is this just because there are so many of them now . any thoughts on this anyone . cheers mr badger (gary

  9. hi just want a few views on subaru ea 81 o engines , how good , tuff, reliable are they? diffrent people tell me "aircraft engines for aircraft, car engines for cars" also the ea81 has only one set of spark plugs is that a problem? do you need 2 sets??? or would duel ignition compensate for this. cheer s to all
  10. hi everyone i wil be starting my flying training after easter after a 12 year lay off after raising two boys i now have spare money to do it , i will be training at caloundra with skyfox aviation cant wait. if anyone out there as any info on cfm shadow aircraft i will be greatfull if you could forward any info at all to me after i gain my licence i am looking to buy one, [email protected] cheers gary
