  1. If you have an RAAus Pilot Certificate, you do not need to do theory for the CASA RPL. If you obtain a class 2 medical you can also carry 3 passengers... There are actually quite a few benefits- I'm considering converting in the very near future!
  2. The Tumut Aero Club will be holding its 9th annual Tumut Valley Fly-in. The event is always popular for pilots and non aviators. Fly into the beautiful Tumut valley for a fantastic weekend gathering. There will be a few ground displays and as always the fantastic atmosphere of the Tumut Aero Club. A dinner on Saturday evening will be held at the Tumut Golf Club with a guest speaker and everyone is most welcome, with a courtesy bus available.   4. The Tumut Aero Club is holding it's Tumut Valley Fly-in. Last year saw over 3.5 thousand people to the event on Sunday alone. Each year the Tumut Valley fly-in is becoming more popular. Stay up to date with all the latest news regarding the event on the club website!

  7. Once again the Tumut Aero Club is gearing up for it's annual Tumut Valley Fly-in. This year the club will be celebrating 55 years since the opening of the first airfield constructed by the club (Butler's Feild). The event will have it's usual family friendly atmosphere and for the first time ever in Tumut, we will also be having a display by the Royal Australian Air Force 'Roulettes'. Be sure to come along and enjoy the event at the home of 'Flying For Fun', the Tumut Aero Club.
