Not a bad plan Heon Inland via KRY/TWB/WCK is a good plan, but Oakey CTA is active most weekdays. Unless your 230 is VH registered and equipped with a transponder plan on extra track miles (not a big deal from KRY). Inland is certainly an easier option if avoiding CTA is a factor - have a great trip and let us know how your new baby goes..

G'day guys, Thanks for the welcome and for the threads of response. Hey Tomo - I fly a number of the local machines at Toowoomba, except for Eastern Wells. I have really been enjoying reading posts from recreational aircraft owners about their experiences. I am interested in the Jabiru's, having a few hours in a 230, so this site will be an excellent information resource on my journey toward my own personal machine someday. I look forward to many conversations with fellow enthusiasts, in what is (Recreational flying in my opinion) the only growth area within GA. Chat soon....

Just wanted to say hell to all forum members after recently joining Recreational Flying. As a long time enthusiast of recreational flying, it's great to be able to read and learn from other enthusiasts. I am an ex-miltary pilot and current GA charter pilot/instructor interested to getting into recreational aircraft ownership for the first time at some point in the future. I look forward to swapping posts and emails with other like minded enthusiasts. Until then, keep the dirty side down and the ball in the middle. Safe Flying...
