  1. Hi is there some one who could please help with a bit of theory on the concept of under-banking during a descending turn and how the inner wing into the turn has a higher angle of attack creating lift to counter the lift created by the higher speed of the outer wing.
  2. Yep that is the big question. I already have had many put them selves on the waiting list but the one who I would like to be she just wont be in it.
  3. For all who asked I passed my flight test Last Thursday and now just to do a couple more hours for my first pax
  4. I meant in the fixed wing for the tips on the ride through the turbulence.
  5. I see you fly from Mangalore I came over there not to long ago and did a TIF in a R22 there with Han from Kestrel . I really liked it but the $ and the distance from home put me off. Apart from weight have you any tips on making the ride better? or is it just time to get used to it?
  6. Thanks for your thoughts they were much appreciated. LOL:roflmao: But the early winters morning sounds good:thumb up:
  7. That would be different, so can you get in for a look?
  8. I think I need a 80 kg sand bag for when I am solo, or visit Mc Donalds a lot more.
  9. Are they doing some upgrades?
  10. Thanks I thought I was alright with the turbulence also until I went solo also I find it handles much differently when I am Solo very climby and takes a bit more to persuade it to come down not that that is a problem. I just some times wonder if I am creating my own turbulence or it is all to do with weight difference. How many hours have you done?
  11. Adelaide not far from YADG ALDINGA
  12. Thanks for the Tip I always notice the weight change when my instructor gets out and it does seem to make a big difference with the fuel full. I was out flying in the local training area solo and left with full tanks and was quite comfortable but after about a hour an on returning even the slight weight difference and the increased warmth of the afternoon I had noticed a difference. I hope to get more used to it soon but I imagine as you say it may take some acclimatisation. Thanks Tim
  13. I have had that told to me may times that the hot weather will the increase the turbulence but I am hoping to get more used to it before then.
  14. I was up your way today at Kyabram
