  1. Morning Graeme, have gone with the Box 500 wing . May change down the track , just want to learn with the more docile wing first. Only other change from standard are Tundra tyres and a strobe.
  2. Not sure how this all works, whether I'am meant to start anther page or what ever. Just keeping up to date , fishing boat sold so have put down a deposit on a new Steel Breeze from the States. Because the frame is welded it will come by boat and may take 3 months or longer to arrive. Will be fun getting here at the start of our wet season but flying after rain is a sight to be seen.
  3. Morning Bones, sounds good but it is only cleared at the moment, still have to grade it and pick sticks etc.
  4. All good Graeme, I have cleared (for the want of a better description) a round strip at the house so I can avoid the cross wind problems when operating from home. Sounds like having steering will be an advantage when not flying local, just have to learn how its done. Tim
  5. Suitman thanks for that info. Have done some more research and like the look of the Steel Breeze, like the tandem set up, 582, steering, brakes and not too bad a price from the States for a new machine. But like any toy have to wait for some coin to roll in before anything happens.
  6. All good Graeme, have started looking, interesting what you find with a little digging.
  7. Morning Tomo, Most of my time in a 182, good bush plane some mustering and seeding pulled scrub etc. Have been in a Drifter and a Thruster but now what that out in the open feeling and slow. Looked at trikes also but feel I will go down the Powered Chute road.Cheers.
  8. Hi All, Am new to this forum and new to powered chutes. I live in North Queensland and feel the Hummerchute may be better up here with our heat etc. Has anyone flown both the 503 and the 582 from Aerochute .
  9. Thanks all for the encouraging replies. Have been keen on powered parachutes for some time, like the thought of low and slow, need for speed has passed so will head to the powered chute forum.
  10. G'day All, hope by reading some forums I will get more motivated to get back in the air.
