Very sad news indeed, the lounge was a great place.
Last year I flew V1 in the YWOL Piper SportCruiser and had lunch with the CFI in the lounge, it was a very enjoyable day.

Neil, if your copy doesn't show up you can always borrow mine....!!FRIDAY FUNNYMine has been delayed, apparently it needs a renewal of registration ROR, and there has been an issue with the proof reading of print (PROP) and as this is done by different people it is considered as a VPP variable Pitch PROP. It then has to have its weight & balance recorded WAB, and as Australia Post don't have this documentation, it needs to be resent.Who knows with all this red tape, some of us may never see it.
Page 44, fantastic article, fantastic flying school.....!!

Hi everyone, I am tossing up if I should change from Raa to Ga, as I can't see the advantage in Raa. The price of Raa aircraft seem to be to high for me, icould get a Cessna 150 or Piper Tomahawk for half to price of a Jabiru or the like. Can some of you more experienced pilots give me some advice please.Pete[/quote}\]

Hi.What do other instructors/FTFs use for the required model aircraft training aid?My current one, of a Skyfox, is due for a major overhaul.Does anyone have a good (affordable) source of model with moving control surfaces that is sturdy enough for the briefing room?
Did you find one and if so where?
Cheers.

CSU = Constant Speed UnitI am not familiar with the terms CSU or AP. What are both?AP = in flight Adjustable Propeller (RAAus endorsement)
Cheers.
Sean.
-
GoFly Aviation Caboolture's Flight Design CT has a CSU fitted.
So if you don't have your AP endorsement, this is the way to GO, for sure.
Cheers.

Should I change flight schools? concern of maintenance & plane safety

No one wants to advise either way so perhaps ill ask a different way, if you were hiring a plane from someone, would you rehire from them if you came across these issues?
No.
