not so smoggy, maybe a little and some low cloud and a rushed photo :redface:. And it's rain season in Zambia at this time, so come 3pm each day it dumps on you very quickly, so that makes for interesting clouds.

That White B737 - VH VUY, wandered into MEL today. Yes it was under a Virgin flight number, but it parked where the Skywest normally does on it's Friday flight into MEL, (Virgin doesn't park there, its normally Tiger or Skywest)and a skywest fokker didn't arrive. I did hear they - Virgin + Skywest had a little agreement together in the West. It's the first friday I've worked at MEL for 6 wks.

Does anyone know where the RAF C130J - ZH 872 came in from ? Saw it was in NZ a couple of days ago, its now sitting outside the John Holland sheds at MEL.

Has anyone come across a Gulfstream V with the rego VH-CRQ ? according to the Casa website it doesn't exist, but it was at MEL today, parked at JHAS. It does have the appearance of the Crown Casino G-V's : CCC + CGF.

We had a overnight guest at MEL last night : A41-207. Flew out - very nicely :biggrin:, mid morning.

Yesterdays arrival wanted to park in the wrong bay, - had to do a tight turn to get out, and a couple of days ago one got lost with directions with the taxiways. They starting to make the China Eastern Pilots look good.

Has anyone got any info on VH-UZS. It's registered to Toll Aviation, but it's not painted in their colours, it actually has Jet Craft Air Cargo on the fuselage. It's sitting at MEL. It's just got me wondering as my research has Toll owning Jet Craft, but I haven't seen them before, also this rego was part of a write off in '93 at Mackay I think it maybe the same plane, but just wondering :confused:. Very nice pictures Darren, especially liked the inflight cockpit shot. Hmm sitting in the engine, that may have been the reason that JQ 320 had to return to the gate the other day at MEL ??? !

Was visited this morning by a Qantas 747 not seen at MEL for along time VH-OJD 'Brisbane' sitting on Golf 4, next to BA's G-YMMK B777-236 ER on Golf 5, both fully loaded waiting for the Fog to clear in Sydney.
