I checked mine - Nil for Feb 2019

They did stop printing and went digital.  I have a gap, and the next edition (Aug 2019) had a statement saying the Board had decided to do a printed copy for every member again.  From memory, they went to a subscription model, but few took it up and it was uneconomical to print so few.  Then digital, then back to everyone getting a magazine, but no longer monthly - about 3 a year.  Sorry

Cheers Vizla, A m8 from Victoria sent me a picture of that edition he came across at his dentist because it had an article of mine they printed so may of been before they stopped printing them, Thanks for looking m8.

Bugger. I give mine to the op shop from time to time. I WOULD have had it. Have you tried eBay? The one magazine I collect (Retro Gamer ) I was able to replace a couple of missing issues via eBay. Set up a loose search first to see what is out there ..I just tried 'sport pilot magazine ' and that got lots of hits. Save that search term and also look every now and then more specifically - add the year for instance. Right now that got me August.

It took me many months to find mine, but there was not much effort because I would get emails when something came up. The reason I suggest a loose search as well as more specific is sometimes your magazine might be in a bulk lot.

    Good luck 🙂

Yeh I will check that out, Cheers Danny

I would not buy that. The second pressure gauge should have the same markings as the input pressure gauge. We dont use % in aviation, it is always just a number eg 65 over 80. Manufacturers will specify a minimum number.

The one RFguy linked above is the one to get. It has two identical gauges and the correct orifice.

Ahh good to know, Cheers Thruster

  4. Thinking on buying a leakdown tester and compression tester so can do own servicing, What capacity/ minimum PSI compressor is needed?. Also the Savannah manual says the compression(Differential pressure gauge) should be checked at the 25hrs service, Read somewhere it was every 200hrs? Previous owner had Annual done at 571hrs then leakdown done at 592hrs for condition report (1) 76/80 (2) 74/80 (3) 78/80 (4) 76/80 Aircraft currently at 621hrs. Cheers

  5. Well after waiting months for the weather to improve between SA & QLD the new toy is now in my possesion, Couple more flights with local Instructor then the adventure of Aircraft ownership begins. Its a 2010 Savannah XL 912 ULS, Very well built and well maintained. Last owner really looked after it. Cheers.

Further to my last post, I have the earlier version of it, specifically built for the Ipad Mini.

I dont use it anymore, as I prefer Suction Cup RAM Attachment.

PM me if you are interested in purchasing, $50 plus postage.

Will send photo if you wish.

Yeh send a pic m8, I read that the mini version will take the 10inch also.
