The real Bert Persson is a life member of both Alice Springs and Caboolture Gliding Clubs. He has had a hangar at Caboolture Airfield since I first met him I’m 2005. He has just this week informed GFA that he will not be renewing his membership as he has sold his Test TST10-M motorglider glider and his hangar. I am currently writing a story on Bert that should appear in the Apr24 issue of the “Gliding Australia” magazine.
