  1. .....

I heard (from some expert on the radio) that the only time its worth using an ethanol blend in your car is if it is at least 3c a litre cheaper, due to the fact that you burn more. I have been using it for a few years and found no ill effect on my car. probably 70,000 kms using an ethanol based mix probably 80% of the time.

Recently I have chosen the unblended stuff unless nothing else is available (some independents only have blended for the entire range) or if it was CHEAP..

  2. Caboolture Fly in

    Nice Cabooluture Trip:

Flew in from Boonah with a mate (Ray) from Warwick in his CTSW. East Via Jacobs Well, then North over Stradbroke / Moreton Islands and then over the bay, was GREAT, spent a couple of hours at Caboolture. We then flew West and dropped into Kilcoy then flew south over the Dams and over Amberly and straight home to Boonah an overall distance of 200 Nautical Miles (THANKS RAY)

edit: I heard one of our flying tigers club members one the raffle.. 051_crying.gif.fe5d15edcc60afab3cc76b2638e7acf3.gif

  4. Good on you.The weather is not that good this time of year,Try and get your flying done early morning while the air is cool and still,(also no traffic). All the best and see you on the field some day:thumb_up:

  5. Don't be too hasty changing schools.I had 11 different instuctors when I was learning to fly, I learnt something different off each one. I'd be having difficulties with an air exercise with one instructor, but would click the next session with another. If you have concerns, talk to the C.F.I. Cheers.

 I went back today, I said I don't give up that easy, they agreed to keep trying
