Am i correct in saying no Avgas available at a pump in Casino airport at all

Ballina has no avgas pump or mogas pump at the airport. Just a truck to refill with a call out fee. Can i use the truck free during normal hours on a saturday...without a callout fee??

Lismore has an avgas pump working with Air BP Car swipe avail all hours

Caloundra has An Air BP Avgas bowser working with swipe card.. Air BP Card Only all hours

No avgas casino. Ballina had self fill 24 hr avgas last time I was there. Takes visa MasterCard too. Just read latest ersa. Not obvious in ersa so maybe phone them first. Good cafe in terminal by the way. Owners name is jake. Lismore bit of a bugga weather wise. can be in cloud mist etc when Ballina and coast clear.

I filled at Lismore and Caloundra in the last week, both Bp with a Skyfuel BP Carnet card. If you apply with them you get a BP, A Mobil and a Skyfuel Carnet card of each, which leaves only Shell and they are usually normal Visa/ MasterCard. Lismore may be an issue as Chocolate suggest but if heading further north it is much closer to the 6500 step across the back of the gold coast which is much nicer to travel than the 100ft over the top of the hill to the north of Murwillumbah to stay under the steps closer to the GC commercial airport

Skyfuel are good to deal with, having those couple of Carnet cards and a normal credit card pretty well covers you were necessary

Yeh thanks guys its for my trip to sunshine coast...Ive got both a coastal and non coastal route planned.... So thats why im asking about all three...

I can actually make the trip to Caloundra non stop...but if we need a break or if we need too much luggage its just easier to take a quick stop at Ballina or Lismore

I used to live at Lismore so am pretty familiar with its surroundings and weather .... I think its the best choice....

I will be carrying life jackets so if cloud becomes an issue i have a planned detour via the coast under the steps.... aas long as the sees are not big...
