Who is the appropriate person to hold the Original documents for an aircraft? As distinct from photocopies or email copies? For an LSA it could be:


The factory


The importer


The owner


The L2 or LAME doing the maintenance.


It seems to me it should be the owner for all documents, but what is your experience?
