YN’AÉRO MCR CLUB

The MCR CLUB is a direct evolution of the MCR

VLA. It is also a side by side two-seater airplane, it

is designed around the same fuselage with an

identical cockpit and engine installation. The MCR

Club appears for the first time in 1998. Its

construction and design was developed in

partnership with an Aviation club for its own use.

The MCR CLUB has been designed around high

safety standards and wings efficiency, providing

both extreme exibility and easy flight

characteristics.

Equipped with a 80 HP engine and a fix pitch

propeller, it is the ideal airplane for intensive use in

flight school operations or aviation clubs.

With a 100 HP engine and a constant speed

propeller, it becomes an efficient high performance

airplane combining fast cruising speed and easy

handle characteristics

The MCR CLUB can be equipped with a choice

of different power plants, but may also be fitted

with other options such as :

Ballistic Recovery System parachute

Oil Pneumatic under carriage ( for intensive use)

Extended range fuel tanks in the fuselage,

(particularly for school or training operations)

Toe operated Hydraulic brakes

Fuselage footsteps

The MCR CLUB is available in kit form in respect

with the CNSK regulation (specific kit airworthiness

certificate) or in the “experimental” category,

depending on the registration country.

G'day Disperse,

Stall speed in landing configuration is quoted as 79 km/hr which is 42 knots so that's fine for RA.

In my view that kit price is too much. Consider that you may well then put in another 700-2,000 hours to build it and then add $24,000 for a Rotax 912 ULS and say $3,000 for a prop. That's $137,000 not counting your labour. You can buy a brand new Tecnam P92 Echo Super with a Dynon D100 for $140,000 GST inclusive and it will be 24- registered, not 19-.

As an example another European low wing kit - all metal is Euro 18,900 for a 51% kit, plus Euro 960 for a prop and Euro 1500 for a firewall forward kit, Euro 1,000 for an interior and say Euro 2,000 for various other necessary bits and pieces. That leaves you at say Euro 24,500 or Australian $41,000 plus about $4,000 shipping and insurance so that's $45,000 plus GST = $50,000. Then add an engine at $24,000, paint gauges and other bits and pieces another $10,000 that's $84,000 and BTW you can have that one as an LSA at 600kg MTOW.

Just examples to get you thinking. No doubt the Jab guys can give you prices here as well. My example kit won't do 140 knots but it will do 110 in cruise. What is that extra speed worth?

Regards

Mike

Just what I have always wanted!

Why do they have to invent words and also to make it seem faster give speed ink.k.p.h.

I would still prefer a Jodel

Disperse,

At an empty weight ( equiped ) of 260kg, which is pretty light, the MTOW of 490kg means you would only have a usable load of 230kg. Thats not very much for 2 people, fuel and baggage.

Is that Mtow governed by the U/C, structural loading or stall speed?

Thanks all for the feed back. in NZ (the land of future australian residents). it has been certified to 544kg mtow. but only with the hydrolic suspension upgrade (oleo).

I'll be honest. I love this thing ... but can the price be justified? short take-off / high climb / heaps and heaps of speed / put in or out of a trailer in under 10min (1 person). and Im quessing, it flys fantastic. not to mention the looks
