Old Koreelah
I have been informed of the sudden passing of Jim Chase, while in Darwin on Sunday 13th June 2010. A great loss to the aviation community and our forum in particular. He was helping me with cold starting my Jab. A very helpful and knowledgable person. blueshed
Thats a bit sad, the old bugger! Used to tell some good stories, like " the weather was that bad I had to get out and open the gates". Always had a good yarn to fill in the blank spaces. Never sure how much truth was in them sometimes, by heck though, they were just interesting to listen to! Rest @ it Ol Fella!
