This is certainly the forum to be on whether you are a Pilot or not so tell us a little about yourself.

Where do you live in Brisbane or the surrounding area? Would you like to learn to fly if not do you get to fly with anybody else etc etc.

Alan.

Cheers

G'day Rob, great to have you along.

I never cease to enjoy watching aviation videos too, made a few of my own which are around and about the place.

Would you like to be a pilot someday, or just prefer to watch and see? If I ever run into you at a fly-in or somewhere you're most welcome to come for a quick ride. I'm west of Toowoomba, generally fly aircraft that are based out of Dalby, Toowoomba, and Archerfield areas. Just a hobby for myself at the moment, and experience building by helping a few gliding clubs out with towing.

Keep up the good work, and we may run into each other someday.

One giant leap for man.. own your own aircraft!!!!! Almost scares you off.. Would I have taken a girl out if someone said you end up with 4 kids. Not that I mind but one thing at a time.. Sneak up on it..

Going for a ride with Tomo. That's a good offer. Nev

Welcome Rob, Hope your interest turns to wind in your hair! Try a Trial Flight with your nearest airfield flying school. That's how I got hooked 12 years ago.

Thanks for that, I did fly back in late 70's early 80's but never completed by Licence, kicking myself ever since. Hope to get back into it one day.

Welcome Rob! 098_welcome.gif.81ff07d492568199326e4f64f78d7bc6.gif You should go for a TIF! You'll definitely enjoy it! (and it could lead to you owning your own A/C someday)!Peter

Cheers, thanks for that, always been an ambition of mine to own my own aircraft some day, still waiting, need to get back in the air and get my licence first.

Alan.

I am in Forest Lake only a short hop from Archerfiled, flying is close to my heart, did around 40 hours of my flight training from 79' to 81' then life got in the way and I never finished it, still have my log book. One day I hope to get started again and get my licence but things are so different from when I last flew, it was an areodrome in NZ, near Dunedin.

Cheers
