Justin Hawkins
Hi, I've got an oportunity to get a good deal on a nice 3 blade kiev prop to replace my worn out Brogla 4 blade. Problem is, it's a 1610mm diameter, which doesn't leave a whole lot of clearance between the prop and the elevator control tube. Does anyone know what the minimum clearance should be ? facthunter
Enough... LOL.. If the blade comes off, it gives a whole new meaning to separation. Being serious, there would have to be one. There could be a bit of flex at times. I've flown a Kiev prop, ( on a tractor installation ) and am impressed with the efficiency of it.
