Rotorwork Posted September 18, 2013 Share Posted September 18, 2013 light plane crashes and bursts into flames near airport, injuring one man From ABC News A light plane has crashed near Geraldton airport in Western Australia's Mid West. Police say the plane went down just before 4:00 pm (WST) and caught fire. The pilot was rescued from the burning wreckage by police and firefighters. He has been taken to Geraldton Regional Hospital with serious injuries, including severe burns.
