What fun! [ATTACH]2465[/ATTACH] Camden Haven - not a bad spot for an airstrip. Scenically at least. [ATTACH]2466[/ATTACH] The tie-down and camping area next to the river. [ATTACH]2467[/ATTACH] The river flows into the lake just a bit downstream [ATTACH]2468[/ATTACH] With beautiful beaches nearby. I could live here. [ATTACH]2469[/ATTACH] Rob getting the blood off the vampire. [ATTACH]2470[/ATTACH] My chariot in good company. [ATTACH]2471[/ATTACH] Picturesque or what? We considered building a fire under this. Briefly. [ATTACH]2472[/ATTACH] Bowling green or runway? The beautifully maintained strip. [ATTACH]2473[/ATTACH] Sealed taxiway, big hangars, idyllic setting - check, check, check. [ATTACH]2474[/ATTACH] Looking back to the camp site. [ATTACH]2475[/ATTACH] The perfect runway. A floatplane did a low pass at one stage, but didn't drop in. [ATTACH]2476[/ATTACH] The shop and lunch getting underway. [ATTACH]2477[/ATTACH] Numbers starting to build. [ATTACH]2478[/ATTACH] Not a bad spot for lunch. [ATTACH]2479[/ATTACH] Good company. [ATTACH]2480[/ATTACH] Jack's Tornado. [ATTACH]2481[/ATTACH] Isn't she beautiful? [ATTACH]2482[/ATTACH] An R44 dropped in. [ATTACH]2483[/ATTACH] And a few trikes. [ATTACH]2484[/ATTACH] A Hornet with swollen glands. [ATTACH]2485[/ATTACH] Mmmmmm - Cheetah. [ATTACH]2486[/ATTACH] The old and the new for Matt and Kaz. Looks easy doesn't it? [ATTACH]2490[/ATTACH] CT4 and the spare Strikemaster. [ATTACH]2491[/ATTACH] The active Strikemaster. Rod put on an amazing display over the field with this puppy. [ATTACH]2492[/ATTACH] Ian reunites with his old faithful Gazelle. [ATTACH]2493[/ATTACH] Floatplane ramp. [ATTACH]2494[/ATTACH] Matt and Kaz leave their CT4A alone with its new friend. [ATTACH]2495[/ATTACH] Heading south again. There was some needle threading to do. [ATTACH]2496[/ATTACH] The old wreck. [ATTACH]2497[/ATTACH] And the new. [ATTACH]2498[/ATTACH] Nearing the Hawkesbury again. [ATTACH]2499[/ATTACH] Threatening but spectacular. [ATTACH]2500[/ATTACH] Firing up the Tecnam for a Jab retrieval mission. [ATTACH]2501[/ATTACH] If you enjoy the photos 1/100th of the amount of fun/adventure/comeraderie/experience I got from the fly-in, then all this work was worthwhile. See you all at the next one. I thought that I would never say this as the drought up here has been so very painfull but the bloody rain (murphy's law) once again came for 10 days at the wrong time.
