Guest Andys@coffs
No further than 20kms from land and always within gliding distance of land in front or behind...your choice as to which...
Guest Andys@coffs
So looking at google earth, if you left from near Gladstone I think you could technically make it (within a few hundred meters of exceeding the 40km limit) without breaking the rules but I cant tell from Google Earth whether all the mini pieces of land are land at all times or just low tide etc......either way probably not somewhere you want to be in a plane with numbers on the side, though chances of a ramp check are likely small I'm guessing offset by likelihood of an unplanned swim
biggles
What are you in to get that far out? Don't tell me you took the Jab that far. No Shags not the Jab , a 700 HP Cessna Grand Caravan . Even that took almost the full length to get airborne . Bob
