My garmin 196 has twice given me ridiculous readings, both close to bundaberg. Once heading for Bundy and seeing it on my nose the GPS said I needed to turn about 45 degrees to get there . Again heading from Bundy, on track for Rods Bay and the GPS is telling me again to turn about 45 degrees. Both times, very little wind and I was sure of my location visually.
