Flying to the ends of the earth

Thanks for the heads up, Peter. I enjoyed the first one and seeing more familiar territory was interesting. Like most of these things it's meant for a general rather than specialist audience, but some great scenery. - Note to self, add Beaver on a short island strip to your bucket list!

Only had one small criticism, involving continuity in the opening scenes before the titles. You see the film maker and the pilot in a Foxbat lining up and taking off, then an underside shot and shadow of a Dornier twin, then back to the Foxbat in the air. Other than that, a very good program.

This weeks episode at 8.35 tonight. "The Great Northern Wilderness" filmed in the wilds of Canada. Should be some good bush flying in that.

Looking forward to next weeks TV guide, this program has been supplanted by the World Cup 2018 Qualifier. However SBSondemand has the episode from Nepal. Here are some screenprints. The episode also features flying into Lukla, considered one of the most dangerous airports in the world. Local joke: there's a restaurant in Lukla called YakDonalds.
