j400 Radio noise, new radio trig ty91

Hi All, tried most things to eliminate radio noise, I now know that it is RF and proved this by having a hand held radio inside aircraft and could still get interference, I have changed rotor arms Ht leads cleaned distributer but no effect, I am now going to check plug gaps, I then intend to fit a new aerial with better shielded cable, then fit a capacitor to coil packs, if all that fails I will shoot myself, desperate for any help. Have you adjusted the configuration internal settings. I fin I need to adjust these for some different head set brands. I make a note of my base line settings so I can get the settings right, eg 70% ,

There is some known problem with Trig radios in Jabiru in EU

 

Jabiru were looking at using them, maybe they have a fix

I did extensive tests on my 2200 and compaqred results from others at the time. Wrote the results up on the Yahoo group forums, attaching a copy here.

 

The main thing which has changed is Jabiru switched to inductive HT leads although they might not be the same type which I recommend. Owners in the UK are getting Magnecore leads made to their requirements. In NZ / Oz we can buy the bosh ones at Supercheapautos.

Apparantly, Trig now have software update that fixes Jabiru noise issue
