red750 Posted October 6, 2013 Share Posted October 6, 2013 I was outside on a ladder peeling ivy off the garage when I heard a muffled aircraft engine not much louder than a cats purr approaching. Next thing, the yellow Antonov An-2 VH-CCE passed overhead on a track between Lilydale and Moorabbin. A while later, it came over again, heading in the same direction. We've only got one wing, and the engine goes round and round but isn't (round) but on the other hand it's started by winding up the rubber band and letting it go... does that count? Flew to KI last Sunday. 1hr 15 going down, 45 minutes coming back. Bit rough over the hills!! I had to ask all the spar termites to hold hands...
