Rotax 912 80hp CHT/EGT sensors for engine monitor

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I purchased a used GRT EIS 4000 for my Rotax 912 80hp.

It includes connectors, oil pressure and oil temp transducers, however no probes.

Which probes (from GRT, or also others?) can I fit to the engine?

Thanks for your help!

PS: Reason for the GRT EIS 4000 is I have an iLevil AW and it accepts the GRG EIS 4000 data via RS232.

Rotax temperature sensors - coolant & oil are the same;

Oil pressure senders are something else - may depend on your head system.

Hi Pat,

You will need to know the attachment type (likely to be hose clamp or screw in) and the distance from installed location to readout (GRT) instrument - you don't want excessive /short cable.

I don't have any contacts in Europe so you will have to do your own research on that. Once you know what you want this should not be so hard.

I recomend joining the Rotax Owner Forum - wealth of information/help on all matters Rotax. The link below may give you a lead or two.
