Castor oil oxidises to a rubber like substance. You need to store them with a good oil and in a sealed Plastic Bag. Nev But the traditional way is just chuck it, in disgust into a drawer somewhere, covered in dirt and crap and still attached to the remains of the engine mounts. And then 20 years later realising that wasn't such a great way to store it after all 😁 1 1 1
facthunter Posted yesterday at 02:57 AM Posted yesterday at 02:57 AM I suppose so but they are quite precisely fitted gadgets and were never that Cheap. I always wrapped a rag around the Motor to cover the Ports and carb intake. Bought my first one at age 12 (a FROG 150 Diesel) about the same time as I bought my first Motorbike. The Motor was 3 x the price of the Bike which was a Waratah 1927 2-stroke about 220 CC I think, Villiers engine. 30 Shillings ride away. Nev 1 1
