OOps I can't open it either
it came as an attachment in an email to me
the attachment titled VID-20160317-WA00021.mp4
runs within the email
it seems that www.VID-20160317-WA00021.mp4
is not a valid URL
figuring it out is beyond my ken.

Is it better to put fresh 100ll in your Rotax and change the plugs and oil more frequently
or
fill it up with stale mogas which is what you are most likely to find at and airfield with very low turnover

It is my understanding that if an aircraft complies with UK registration requirements then it can be registered in AUS with the same conditions/limitations as applied to its UK registration.
eg many aircraft that are registered in the UK under a 480kg MTOW limitation could be registered with a 544kg in Australia but if brought into Australia with the UK documentation can only have the 480kg limit.
To acquire the 544kg limit the whole certification process would have to be initiated and completed again within Australia.
At that is my understanding,
the proposed importer would need to obtain definitive rulings from RAA, SAAA and CASA and make their own decisions.

I have the trutrak gemini PFD and love it
It has been very reliable for last 450 hrs
Created some serious RF interference on installation that easily fixed by attaching filter reccomended by manufacturer.
Attitude info is excellent and slip/skid indicator is more sensitive than my skid ball instrument
I find the number display for air speed, track and altitude a bit small
true Baro altitude,
Attitude indicator is vector graphic
needs an external GPS for track and GS info. I use a dedicated Garmin unit supplied by trutrak.
Without a GPS signal operates as a DG

Willow Run B-24s
The long hanger at Willow Run, Michigan has a 90 degree turn so that Henry Ford did not have to pay taxes in the next county.
That short end is being saved and restored as a museum. The big hanger doors are still operational after all those years.
This is one of the best and most informative clips about an American accomplishment. Congratulations to the Ford Motor Company during WWII.
A Ford Airplane - AMAZING
This was 6 months BEFORE Pearl Harbour! Henry Ford was determined that he could mass produce bombers just as he had done with cars, so he built the Willow Run assembly plant in Michigan and proved it. It was the world's largest building under one roof at the time. This film will absolutely blow you away — one B-24 every? 55 minutes . . . and Ford had their own pilots to test them. And they had no recalls.
ADOLF HITLER HAD NO IDEA THE U.S. WAS CAPABLE OF THIS KIND OF THING.

Easier task with ONC charts, not as many to cut and align but the projection challenges are still there

Tried switching off all electrics apart from master and radio and while fiddling around noticed that the noise varied and sometimes stopped when I moved the power cord to the GPS which is mounted adjacent to the Icom.
I Unplugged the GPS power with no effect. ( It is powered from one of those cigarette lighter plugs) with no change
then I removed the GPS from its cradle also no effect.
Garmin Aera 500 and Icom 200
The cradle is mounted next to the radio and when I wave the unplugged power cord that is attached to the empty GPS cradle the noise varies with movement of the cord.
I am wondering is it the length of the cord is acting as a tuned antenna causing the problem, I don't particularly want to change the position of either the GPS or the radio.
Would a ferrite ring around the GPS power cord be likely to resolve the problem
many thanks

You think you have lived to be 80 plus and know who you are, then along comes someone and blows it all to hell!
An old Marine Pilot sat down at the Starbucks, still wearing his old USMC flight jacket and ordered a cup of coffee.
As he sat sipping his coffee, a young woman sat down next to him. She turned to the pilot and asked,Are you a real pilot?
He replied, 'Well, I've spent my whole life flying planes, first Stearmans, then the early Grummans... flew a Wildcat and Corsair in WWII, and later in the Korean conflict, Banshees and Cougars. I've taught more than 260 people to fly and given rides to hundreds, so I guess I am a pilot, and you, what are you?
She said, 'I'm a lesbian. I spend my whole day thinking
about naked women. As soon as I get up in the morning, I think about naked women. When I shower, I think about naked women. When I watch TV, I think about naked women. It seems everything makes me think of naked women.' The two sat sipping in silence.A little while later, a young man sat down on the other side of the old pilot and asked:
"Are you a real pilot?"He replied, 'I always thought I was, but I just found out I'm a lesbian.'

My Icom A200 usually works well
However when I select 128.00 the frequency of Tyabb, one of my local airfields, I get an intermittent noise
that sounds as if someone on the channel has an open mike.
When I transmit this noise will continue for several seconds after I conclude my transmission and if
I flip to another frequency the noise stops but is still there if I flip back to 128.00.
Over the top of this noise I can communicate OK with other aircraft.
When selecting 128.05 or 127.05 there is no problem
When well out of range of any station on 128.0 i still hear what sounds like someone on channel intermittently
transmitting.
I don't have any trouble on any other frequency that I have tried.
any and all advice greatly appreciated.

A question or two
1 Where does one source some 17 mm radiator hose for the 912?
2 My 80 hp 912 has Evans waterless coolant, Should Evans be changed at certain number of
hours or years?
3 Are there other coolants suitable for the 912?
any and all comments/advice greatly received.

friction applied to silicone enhanced jugs could lead to serious shock.
Inside a fuel tank one can expect that the concentration of fuel vapour in the air vapour/mixture will be too high (rich) for sustained ignition or explosion. Consequently a static discharge spark that occurs within the tank is unlikely to cause ignition. Therefore it is good practice to ensure that the nozzle is inserted as far as it can go into the tank before commencing fuel flow. Also good practice to pause after the flow has ceased before removing the nozzle.
I have concerns about the system that one sometimes sees of using air pressure to drive fuel from a container. Such a system will shift the fuel vapour/air mixture inside the container from being too rich to ignite towards an explosive ratio;- just add spark and disaster.

Have lander a Skyranger at Leadville Colorado
Just on 10000. Ft amsl
No problem for the little plane that made 14,000ft over the pass on the way in.
I believe that they used to operate a regular Airline service to Leadville using twin Otters
