  1. read the question, read it again, then re read the question then read ONLY the KEY WORDS in the question, read the KEY WORDS again. Then you should be able to understand what answer the question is seeking. If you don't cross out all the words that are NOT KEY WORDS in the question. Read it again. Write down all the answers you think are possible and look for the same KEY WORDS in your answer.

  2. HI Chris

Like you I had a lot of problems finding a single source for all the information needed to study for the underpinning knowledge needed for exams but more importantly to understand why aircraft act in a particular way.

The answer to your problem is right here on this site. Click the link for tutorials. They may seem complex and difficult at first but there is a reason for that. If you take the time to read carefully take notes ask lots of questions in the forums to make sure you really do understand you will not need anthing further. Your only other need is to take the time to learn thoroughly.

  3. What is the financial reasoning for the increase? How will it affect the operational budget? Does it agree with the P & L projections? What does the constuitution say regarding sources of revenue? How can anyone agree with what appears on the surface to be a money grab but equally may be significantly underfunding the operations. An uninformed decision is worse than no decision. My2cworth

  4. Helll Forum.

Just a heads up regarding Telstra 3G cards.

They are changing the way they connect to the internet from now on.

These cards when connected will be provided with a private, Class C IP address and will be NAT’ed to the internet. There is active port filtering in place as well.

What this means is that people with ‘home grade’ Telstra cards will start having issues connecting to PPTP and possibly IPSEC VPN’s.

However there is a ‘product code’ that people can get on their Telstra account that will make it behave as per usual.

    This code is ‘GP-CORP-B3’.

Then the cards get given an ‘Internet’ ip address and there is no NAT’ing or other things.

  5. Helo Pete,

Ask questions. Lots of them. There are no stupid questions only stupid answers. A GOOD flying instructor is like any good professional, be it lawyer undertaker or chef and relies on reputation. Ask some more questions and then some more and likley you will come up with YOUR own opinion of this persons capability to give to YOU what YOU want. You will know when you find a good instructor because it is YOU who decides.
